How should I set the price for my items?

• Imagine you were the buyer: how much would you be prepared to pay for this second-hand item?
• Evaluate your item based on the store price you paid, and, more importantly, on its condition.
• Take a look at the site. How much are similar items?

Don’t forget that your item may not sell if it is overpriced:

• The community is very savvy!
• Your item will almost certainly have been in the sale since you bought it.
• A pre-worn item usually sells for around 50% of its price when new… unless it’s a collector’s item!

Calculating the commission

Free and unlimited sale uploads, and your commission only applies once your item is sold!

The margin depends on the selling price of your item. Your final commission is the sum of the commission brackets building up to your final price.

• Classic deposit

  • $ 25 (inc. tax) for prices under $ 70
  • 33% (inc. tax) for prices ranging from 70 and $ 140
  • 31% (inc. tax) for prices ranging from 140 and $ 345
  • 30% (inc. tax) for prices ranging from 345 and $ 690
  • 25% (inc. tax) for prices ranging from 690 and $ 1380
  • 24% (inc. tax) for prices ranging from 1380 and $ 2755
  • 20% (inc. tax) for prices ranging from 2755 and $ 4130
  • 18% (inc. tax) for prices ranging above $ 4130

• Lifestyle deposit

  • 50% (inc. tax) for prices under $ 70
  • 33% (inc. tax) for prices ranging from 70 and $ 140
  • 31% (inc. tax) for prices ranging from 140 and $ 345
  • 30% (inc. tax) for prices ranging from 345 and $ 690
  • 25% (inc. tax) for prices ranging from 690 and $ 1380
  • 24% (inc. tax) for prices ranging from 1380 and $ 2755
  • 20% (inc. tax) for prices ranging from 2755 and $ 4130
  • 18% (inc. tax) for prices ranging above $ 4130

Because Rich Bitch Closet is subject to the Value-Added Tax (VAT), the amounts and rates shown are tax included.

Example – Classic deposit:
You bought a pair of ankle boots for $500, you’ve hardly worn them, you would like to sell them for $250.
Our commission will therefore be calculated as follows:
$25 + 33% from the 70 to $140 range + 31% from the 140 to $345 range, i.e. $82 (inc. tax).
Your ankle boots will therefore get you $168, i.e. 67% of the sale price!

Example – Lifestyle deposit :
You bought an umbrella for $500, you would like to sell it for $250.
Our commission will therefore be calculated as follows:
$35 + 33% from the 70 to $140 range + 31% from the 140 to $345 range, i.e. $92 (inc. tax).
Your umbrella will therefore get you $158, i.e. 63% of the sale price!
